WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. – Liberty Classical Academy will host "Liberty: All Access" campus and program tours on September 30 and October 8, 2014. The tours are open to the public, providing a first-hand experience of how Liberty is achieving outstanding academic results by using the time-tested classical method. The tours include: observing students in the classroom; listening to a parent testimony of the Liberty experience; and a brief presentation by Liberty’s Headmaster, Rebekah Hagstrom, sharing the mission and vision of Liberty.
“Classical education is a proven method that uses engaging classroom techniques geared towards a child’s natural progression of cognitive development,” said Hagstrom. “Liberty students consistently achieve because our program combines academic rigor, engaging classrooms, and Christian values.”
The tours, held at Liberty’s new campus location—3878 Highland Avenue, White Bear Lake, Minn.—take place on Tuesday, September 30 and Wednesday, October 8 at 8:30 a.m. Please reply your attendance to Bethany Zenner at 651-762-3657 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Last month, Liberty Classical Academy opened the 2014-15 academic year at its new home location in White Bear Lake. Signing an initial five-year lease with the St. Pius X Parish, the school brings all of Liberty’s grade levels under a fully equipped single campus.
Liberty has a proven track record in academic proficiency by its students. ACT reports that for the past five years, Liberty students have achieved the college readiness benchmark scores across all categories tested by ACT—English, math, reading and science—consistently outperforming their Minnesota peers. Recent ACT score results for 2013 show Liberty students continue to achieve. Of all students taking the ACT test in Minnesota, 100-percent of Liberty students had demonstrated college readiness, compared to only 39-percent of their Minnesota peers.
