Monday, August 25, 8:30 - 9:30 a.m.

Celebrating the beginning of the 2014-15 academic year at its new campus, Liberty Classical Academy will mark the occasion with an official ribbon cutting ceremony on the opening day of school--August 25, 2014. Signing an initial five-year lease with the St. Pius X Parish, Liberty moved into the school building--3878 Highland Avenue, White Bear Lake--on July 1. "After operating from two campus locations for the past eight years, we are thrilled to celebrate this momentous occasion in Liberty's history," said Liberty's Headmaster Rebekah Hagstrom. "With graduates in the top 13% of the nation of ACT scores, we are launching the next generation of moral leaders--now from a convenient and fully equipped single campus." The ribbon cutting ceremony takes place on Monday, August 25 at 8:30 a.m. in Liberty's new gymnasium. Following brief remarks from Hagstrom, White Bear Lake Mayor Jo Emerson and Rep. Matt Dean, R-Minn., media and guests are invited to a coffee and pastry reception as well as tours of the school's new campus. "On behalf of the entire Liberty Classical Academy family, we are thrilled to open the 2014-15 academic year in our new building, having our entire student body under one amazing school roof," said Hagstrom. "Our growth is proof that parents want to raise the bar for their children's education without sacrificing the Christian values they teach at home and we look forward to watching Liberty grow at this new campus."
