(Undated) -- The embattled healthcare.gov website is having a big problem. The application and enrollment system is down because the company which hosts the site is experiencing an outage. The company, Terremark, says it is working to fix the problem as soon as it can. Terremark runs the data center behind the federal system for determining eligibility for government subsidies to purchase insurance nationwide and hosts healthcare.gov
The data center had a failure today which led it to lose network connectivity.
