(St. Cloud, MN) -- A proposed mosque development in St. Cloud is now off the table. The "St. Cloud Times" reports the Islamic Center of St. Cloud pulled the application before the City Council last night after it was debated for three hours. A mosque, religious school, community building and a pair of duplexes had been proposed. Council President Jeff Goerger had to ask speakers several times during the public meeting not to focus on religion but concentrate on the zoning issue and actual development itself.
