Grammy show nothing but fun for fun.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -  Kelly Clarkson and fun. earned two early Grammy Award nominations by joining a jam-packed field for record of the year.

The category includes a hefty six nominees, each of which was inescapable over the last year. The list includes Clarkson's "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)," fun.'s "We Are Young," Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know," featuring Kimbra, Taylor Swift's "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," The Black Keys' "Lonely Boy" and Frank Ocean's "Thinkin Bout You."

Clarkson and fun. also were nominated in the best pop vocal album category announced Wednesday night at the top of the Grammy's nominations concert, aired live from Nashville for the first time.
